Philosophy means “the love of wisdom.” Kreeft uses the dialogues of Socrates to help the reader grow in that love. He says that no master of the art of philosophizing has ever been more simple, clear, and accessible to beginners as has Socrates. INTRODUCTION The four books which are studied in this pamphlet, while widely differing in aim and subject-matter, have a common apologetic basis. Each book is a defence of some phase of Catholicism. Cardinal Newman traces the great anti-Catholic tradition back to its sources, and subjects it to the scrutiny of his keen logic and his good-natured sarcasm. G. K. Chesterton gives reasons for his faith in the Apostles's Creed, a creed which he accepts on the authority of the Catholic Church....

This is a theological analysis of the Catholic doctrine of sacramental intention and it's application to the claim that the Holy Orders of Archbishop Lefebvre, along with all those who derive their Orders from him, are invalid or doubtfully valid, due to the possibility that Lefebvre's ordaining and consecrating bishop, Cardinal Lienart, was a Freemason. The Catholic principles and teachings provided in this analysis show that whether or not Cardinal Lienart was a Freemason is irrelevant to the...
